Killer Instinct is the main reason that I bought an Xbox One, plain and simple.  I really could not wait to play the next iteration of my favorite fighting game series of all-time, it felt like a dream.  I remember desperately waiting for another game after Killer Instinct 2, but years passed me by without even a mention of the series, the best I had to sate my thirst was fake Killer Instinct 3 trailers.  That soon changed at Electronics Entertainment Expo 2013 when a reboot of the iconic franchise was announced for Microsoft's next generation console.  The announcement was exactly what I wanted, and I went absolutely bonkers inside of my Xbox Live viewing party.

Fast forward to the here and now in 2015, a few years after its initial launch and I am saddened by my lack of interest in the game for varying reasons.  However, even with the disappointment I have in this newest Killer Instinct, Hisako stands as a beacon of hope for me amongst the shattered remains of my child hood dreams.  This article is going to be focused on exactly why Hisako threatens to fan the dying embers of my love for this game and erupt it into a full blown inferno.

NOTE  - I know that Hisako is already available to play, but I do not own the Ultra Edition nor the Combo Breaker Edition of Killer Instinct.  I am speaking when she is available to be purchased individually for those who want to pay on a character-by-character basis due to player preference or budget restraints.

Omega Quintet has a new batch of screenshots featuring some of the larger enemies that players will be facing within the game, seven in total.  Not only that, but I have also embedded a clip titled "Inchoate Voice" which shows off the game's PVS system in action, otherwise known as "Promotional Video System".

After the jump you will see the screenshots and the brand new trailer for Omega Quintet.  This game is set to release in North America on April 28th in both physical and digital formats.  Those who dwell in Europe will get the game a little later on May 1st for the physical copy of the game and May 6th for the digital downloadable version.  This game is currently only for Playstation 4.

Atlus is now bringing over another Tactical Japanese Role-Playing Game by the name of "Lost Dimension", a game where you supposedly have psychic powers and must stop an evil entity known as "The End" while simultaneously eliminating traitors in your group by erasing their existence.  Sounds pretty interesting, does it not?  You can find a small description, press release, screenshots, and the opening movie after the jump below.

Announced as an exclusive for the Nintendo 3DS is Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold:  The Fafnir Knight.  This is a Japanese Role-Playing Game slated for release in the summer of this year.  If you are interested in exactly what the game entails, want to see the debut trailer for the game, and if you are interested in a couple of screenshots from the game itself, go ahead and hit the jump.  Oh, I also forgot that the full press release is included below as well.

With Street Fighter V was announced this year and we have already seen trailers of Ryu, Chun-Li, and the latest of Charlie Nash.  Bison was teased as returning, but we do not really have any knowledge of characters beyond this.  While I did hear that Street Fighter V is possibly taking place after Street Fighter III's story, that does not mean that characters included within that game are necessarily making a return.  This article is going to be about the characters whom I would want to see in the next iteration of Capcom's legendary fighting game series.

There are currently many anime that end in "-gatari", but I had personally never seen one.  Well, wanting to see one, my friend Rasean introduced me to one he heard had been pretty good, Katanagatari.  We started off watching that anime together and eventually stopped since Destiny got in the way (damn that game is good), but I was so ensnared by the anime I wanted to see it to its end, and so I did.

This review is going to tell you what I thought about Katanagatari and what it had to offer.  Was this anime a good recommendation all the way to its end?  Or was this just something I wanted to finish since I had already gotten most of the way through it?  You can find out after the jump!

Top 5 Tuesdays is an article series that focuses on my "top five" anything on a given subject of my choosing that pertains to either gaming, anime, or manga.

RWBY is the original work of Monty Oum, the creator of such incredible videos like "Dead Fantasy: Dead or Alive vs Final Fantasy" and "Haloid: Master Chief vs Samus Aran".  Honestly, he has some of the best fight choreography that I have ever seen and all of his creations are works that I find to be well done.  Monty Oum passed away not too long ago, leaving far too soon with the brilliance of his latest series left unfinished.  I have no idea if RWBY will continue, but I did enjoy what we have seen if indeed RWBY: Volume 2 is the last we will see of Team Ruby and Team Juniper.

This Top 5 Tuesday's post is going to be focusing on which characters that are my favorite from his latest series and why I loved them so much.  You can catch the list after the jump.  Also, feel free to leave a comment telling me who are your favorites and why!  I would love to hear.
