Top 5 Tuesdays: RoK's Top 5 Anime Opening's of All-Time!

Very important in nearly all anime is the introductory animation or the "intro".  A montage of images and animation featuring characters, locales, and action that may be related or unrelated to the story.

Immediately someone can become interested or disinterested just from witnessing an intro and can setup initial hype that can span long enough to help shows that are slow starters.

I have watched a good amount of anime, and I want to share with you the Top 5 openings that have stuck to me throughout my anime watching history, plus 3 more that are notable mentions that nearly made the list but did not quite make the cut.

desk: Interview with an Execution God

Anyone who is a fan of the Street Fighter IV series, Marvel vs Capcom 3 series, game breaking glitches, or just a lover of high execution combo videos has more than likely heard the name "desk".  

Springing from seemingly nowhere with technical ability that was completely unheard of, performing combos consistently that others relied on programmable controllers to achieve and all the while recording his hands as proof.  Even more so than this, he is a talented musician who has a band, "Project Dolphin".

In this interview I ask him a few questions to better discover what drives him and exactly who he is.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3: Xbox 360 Console Game Review

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3's announcement came as no surprise from CAPCOM, seeing as how they came out with multiple versions for the Street Fighter IV series.

The original Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds debuted back on February 15^th, 2011, we now have the Ultimate version of the game on November 15^th of the same year, making exactly 9 months between them.

Adding in new modes, 8 new stages, 12 new characters, and an online spectator mode,  and various balances; it plans to "Take You For a Ride" in all the ways Marvel vs Capcom 3 was suppose to, the only question now is, does it?

Bidding Adieu! Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds

The Bidding Adieu! series is one that focuses on games I own and trade in because I am finished with it or because a newer version of that game is coming out.  Unlike game reviews that are done quickly as a game premieres, this gives an overall look at the game from my perspective during the life time that I have owned the game.

You will read about my experiences in the game, what I liked and did not like, and the reason that this game is no longer something that holds my interest enough to play or hold onto.
