Shulk is now announced officially for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS!  This swordsman wields the blade "Minato" and looks absolutely stylish in his reveal trailer and has currently secured the spot to be my main character when this game arrives (Since the only other ones I really like are Robin and Ike)!  Also, could this mean that the leaked roster that has been circulating around the internet be true?  Only time will tell!

To see the trailer, promotional artwork, and screenshots of Shulk you already know what to do.  Go ahead and hit the jump!

Mario Kart 8 is one of the major games which helped to sell the Nintendo Wii U at this point, it would not make sense for them to not give the fans more incentive to play it while increasing their profits simultaneously.  Nintendo has released a Press Release detailing exactly what we can expect in the new up-and-coming Mario Kart 8 DLC.  Right now we know that new drivers will be added (Such as Link from The Legend of Zelda in the featured article image above), brand new karts, and 16 all new courses.  Go ahead and hit the jump to check out the full Press Release.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma is the most recent IP entry into the game series known as "BlazBlue".  I was pleasantly surprised and amused once I found out about "BlazBlue: Clone Phantasma" coming out for the Nintendo 3DS and I knew I had to get my hands on it to review.  Being a dedicated fan of the original fighting game series, I figured that this was going to be hilarious because it reminded me of one of the "Gag Endings" in BlazBlue's Story Mode but with chibi's present in the omakes of "Teach Me!, Miss Litchi!" and "Help Me Professor Kokonoe!".

This is going to be my review telling you whether-or-not this game is worth the asking price.  Go ahead and hit the jump to check out the comprehensive review.

Finally we get English trailers for the two DLC characters for Persona 4 Ultimax, Tohru Adachi "The Egocentric Police Dick" and Marie "The Antisocial Poet of the Hollow Forest".  I am not going to lie, I am really like both characters so far.  I mainly like Tohru Adachi for his "Holier than thou" attitude, not to mention he seems a bit pessimistic and hard to deal with.  I really like Marie because her clothes are awesome and she uses electricity (Which is colored blue, unlike the yellow we see from Kanji Tatsumi).  The trailer is embedded below, check it out.

Also, as a reminder, for those of you who purchase "Persona 4 Ultimax" for either Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, both Tohru Adachi and Marie will be available for FREE to download during the first week of release.

Managed to catch up with known fighting game's player Deg, a.k.a. "Scorpion Legend" for an interview.  Most known recently for his performances in Injustice: Gods Among Us and his masterful use of the underplayed character, "Zatanna".  I thought it would be interesting to get his perspective on things and find out where he plans to go from here.  You can catch the full Q&A session after the jump.

Tom Clancy's "The Division" is probably my most anticipated game of 2015 thus far (Even more so than Rise of the Tomb Raider).  Finally it would seem that we get a little bit more information about the game during Gamescom 2014.  I am glad because I really want to know more about the fine details that went into making this game and what we can all expect from it (Not to mention the awesome abilities of the Snowdrop engine).

PHANTOM BREAKER: BATTLE GROUNDS is a side scroller beat em' up that is based off of the fighting game "Phantom Breaker".  This game originally released last year in 2013 for the Xbox Box Live Arcade exclusively.  Playstation fans will now be able to enjoy the game through their Playstation Vita portable gaming system.  I know I would be excited as I rank this within my top 5 favorite Xbox Live Arcade Games of all-time.  You can hit the jump for the press release.

Top 5 Tuesdays is an article series that focuses on my "top five" anything on a given subject of my choosing that pertains to either gaming, anime, or manga.

Xbox 360 was my favorite gaming platform of all-time due to the memories that I had with it.  However, Xbox One is here and is soon to take its place.  We are past the 6 month mark and continue to have monthly updates, however I feel that the X1 still has quite the ways to go.  Here are the Top 5 things I think that the newest all-in-one entertainment system from Microsoft still needs.

1st Episode Impressions is an article series which focuses around critiquing the debut of a new anime or season's very first episode to see whether-or-not it makes a lasting impression on me from the very beginning.  It also acts as an comparative point for my final review of that anime or season.

RWBY was a decent first try by Monty Oum (Maker of Dead Fantasy: Dead or Alive vs Final Fantasy and Haloid: Master Chief vs Samus Aran) in making his own anime, and while it was lacking in a lot of respects, it still proved enjoyable overall.  With Monty taking more time to work on the production of RWBY Volume 2, this will be my time to see if he has done his homework and managed to improve on his formula.

Also, be sure to check out my review for RWBY Volume 1.

Top 5 Tuesdays is an article series that focuses on my "top five" anything on a given subject of my choosing that pertains to either gaming, anime, or manga.

Fighting games are use to crossing over, I mean we mostly see it with CAPCOM (Such as Marvel vs Capcom, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Capcom vs SNK, etc.), but other series have begin to also do it as well (Such as Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe).  We have even seen other fighting games include other fighters from their series inside of their official releases, such as the inclusion of Virtua Fighter characters inside of Dead or Alive 5.

This article is going to talk about the top 5 fighting game crossovers that I want to see take place (Including the Top 5 fighters from each side I would want to make it in).  Some of these may never get made but it does not hurt to dream, right?

Some of my hype died for Hyrule Warriors once I found out that there was going to be no option available for "Online Multiplayer", many people (Including myself) figured that Nintendo had dropped the ball on a title that could possibly be a console seller to some (Kind of similar to Mart Kart 8 or the up-and-coming Super Smash Bros. for Wii U).  However, from seeing this new "Hyrule Warrior Direct" presentation, maybe they do not need it.

I am going to give my impressions over what was seen in this presentation given by Nintendo in regards to how it is currently playing out (Do not worry, I will also embed the YouTube video of their entire session for easy comparison of my article).  Many wondered if this was a good idea or not (Myself included, again), and I am here to update my opinion on this game given the new information.

Capcom is once again going to be bringing back its classic "Resident Evil" (Biohazard "バイオハザード" in Japan) to consoles (Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Xbox One, and Playstation 4).  Everyone remembers when this game got remade for the Nintendo Gamecube back in 2002 (At least I do, I could not believe the GC had that much power that went untapped) and then ported to the Wii U in 2008, but now they can play it on a non-Nintendo console, brilliant.

Capcom released an officially press release for the game saying some of the things that will be available on it and when we can expect it.  There is also some artwork and screenshots that are currently available for viewing.  Go ahead and hit the jump for the full details.

We have been graced with some more screenshots for Danganrona 2: Goodbye Despair.  After the jump you will find 8 brand new screenshots for this sequel that comes after the critically acclaimed mystery/adventure game, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.

Also note that this game will be available for purchase in North America on September 2nd and then again in Europe as of September 5th.  It is only available on the Playstation Vita portable entertainment system.

Square Enix has released a couple of Press Releases regarding Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.  They happen to include a 30-Day Free Trial to new players and a "Recruit a Friend" promotion that is going on.

My guess is that either Square Enix is not getting as many players as they have initially thought, or they are simply trying to branch out to more people who will not give FFXIV a shot because it is a Japanese MMORPG as opposed to the more commonly played Western Style MMORPG.  Well, whatever the case may be.  Hit the jump to check out the details.
