Aschente!  Could you imagine a world which decides EVERYTHING through games, even conflicts and the very right to Godhood?  Well, that is the reality of the world known as "Disboard", ruled by Tet, the One True God.  However, how the hikikomori duo of Sora and Shiro entered into such a place is a whole different story within itself.

Sora and Shiro together form "Blank", an inseparable duo whose combined individual talents make for a fearsome force which is said to be unbeatable.  Though, getting pulled into a world ruled by games with Imanity being the lowest, they will have to climb their race up from the depths and conquer everyone else to earn the right to challenge the One True God.  Check out if this gaming anime proves to be a Triple A title or is destined for the Bargin Bin.

Something that has been bothering me is the way that I have been running my site here, mainly in the way that I am handling articles and the way I prioritize what is going to be posted and when.  Allow me to elaborate.

You see, sometimes I get a lot of content that is flooded from a singular topic, either it will be gaming, anime, or manga.  I become worrisome that my site is going to drift too much into one direction so that when I ask for review materials or someone comes to view my it, they will think that it is not balanced and some interest might be lost.  This is a bad way of thinking.

This announcement is going to detail how I handle content for RoKtheReaper.com in the upcoming future.

Top 5 Tuesdays is an article series that focuses on my "top five" anything on a given subject of my choosing that pertains to either gaming, anime, or manga.

Since I consider myself a massive advocate of geek and otaku culture, mostly by the way of video games and anime/manga, it is no surprise that my musical choice tends to drift towards OST's (Original Sound Tracks) of those genre.  Though, over the years, I have amassed some favorites that I constantly go back to listen to, whether it be because of sentimental value or simply because it was amazing to listen to.

With all of that being said, I know give you my current favorite Japanese Role-Playing Game songs of all-time.

Everyone was awaiting this year's E3, Electronic Entertainment Expo, with baited breath.  This was going to be the first E3 after the release of Xbox One and Playstation 4, and we expected to see brand new titles for those systems as well as the Wii U.  Having been pleasantly impressed by a lot of the line-up, I had a lot of games that caught my interest but only a few that really rose above the rest to tickle my inner game with impatient anticipation .

Go ahead ahead and hit the jump to find out my five favorite games that got their debut at E3 2014.

Releasing today on Playstation Vita as a Digital Download for North America is none other than the sensational puzzle/rhythm game, "Magical Beat"!  Within this game, you are going to familiarize yourself with elements of both rhythm and puzzle games as the two mix together for an experience that is sure to appease fans of both genres.  This game features music that is made by renowned Nico Nico celebrity Kikuo.

I know that this is the first time a lot of you are hearing about "Magical Beat", however if this is the first time you are hearing about this game, but you happen to like Japanese-style puzzle and rhythm games, then you should definitely check out the press release inside.  Also, there are screenshots and DLC information after the jump.

My first meeting with Makoto came during a supposed "Smashfest" for Super Smash Bros. Melee that was going down at El Centro Community College here in Dallas, Texas.  The smashers never did show up and instead there were people playing Street Fighter III: Third Strike.  At that point, I had only played some Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact in the mall, and even then I had only used Sean.  I randomly picked Makoto only to realize this character was not a boy but a really masculine female, I was soon smitten with her raw, aggressive style.

Makoto was the main character I wanted to see debut as a Third Strike representative in Super Street Fighter IV, and with her addition I found a new main.  I feel she is stronger than ever in Ultra, and here is why I am loving playing her.

When I first started writing on my blog, it was just something I wanted to do so that I could express my love of gaming, anime, and manga.  Quite honestly, I had not thought about anything beyond doing it as a casual hobby and that it would be excellent to keep my writing skills in check since I no longer text role-played on AOL (America Online).  However, I things began to change once I realized that there were perks to be had from being good at this sort of thing, and that is where I believed my focus originally got tainted.

This post is about where I went off track and why I am back on it now, and why I am going to make sure I stay on that track.  If you are at all interested in my innermost thoughts, you can hit the jump to check out everything.

Square Enix did not really give us what we wanted to see at E3 this year (Which is more information, videos, and/or game play of Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV), however they did manage to give us some nice games to tide us over until then.  The games I am referring two are none other Final Fantasy Type-0 and Final Fantasy Agito.  Yup, these two games are finally going to be available in North America.

Final Fantasy Type-0 will be available in an HD remastered version for both the Microsoft Xbox One and  Sony Playstation 4, while Final Fantasy Agito will be available on both iOS and Android compatible devices.  To check out the official press release for the titles, go ahead and catch the full article right after the jump!

With Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS on the verge of coming out, it would only be natural that Nintendo wants to show off their "Console Saving" title at E3 Expo.  Now, with that day upon us, how did it stack up to what was promised?  Did they manage to make the game fun as well as competitive to help the more casual community get into the game and appease the hardcore tournament goer?

Well, I have tuned into this tournament and watched it within its entirety and have formed my own opinion on it.  Be sure to check out the full article after the jump and find out what I'm thinking in regards to how Smash Bros. For Wii U and 3DS is progressing and how this tournament event at E3 turned out.  Go ahead and hit the jump.

Namco's most recognizable character now joins his place in Nintendo's new upcoming fighter, Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS!  Seeing as CAPCOM was able to get Megaman into the game (Well, to be fair he was the number one requested 3rd party character this time around), it is no wonder that Pac-Man was able to get in because of NAMCO's and Nintendo's close involvement with making this new iteration of smash.  However, seeing as how the Pac-Man games played, will they be able to keep him true to his original self?

I will give a few of my thoughts on how well Pac-Man transitions to Smash while also giving you a look at his trailer in addition to screenshots of him in-game.  You can catch the full details after the jump!

The Goddess of Light, Palutena from Kid Icarus fame, now joins the rest of Nintendo's combatants in the upcoming game "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS".  Palutena marks the entry of yet another new fighter to join the cast.  I personally am hype for her because we needed some new female combatants to join the cast, and she is looking like a good secondary beyond my main of Ike (From what I can tell from her game play).

Inside you will find a trailer for the Goddess of Light, including a small anime-style introduction (To which the feature picture on the right was grabbed from) and a host of screenshots for both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game.  She looks incredibly fun to play in both 4-vs-4 and 1-vs-1 action.  Hit the jump for the full glory.
