Seems with the popularity of gaming, Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs) in particular, that we have began to get an influx of anime within that department.  The last major one that I payed attention to was the much acclaimed romance anime that focused around an MMO, Sword Art Online.  With this one looking promising, I delved into it after some friends suggested that I do so and I managed to completely watch it from beginning to end.

In this review for RoKtheReaper.com, I am going to tell you the basis of this anime and examine whether-or-not it is worth your time to watch and is worthy of the praise it has received.  Go ahead and hit the jump to check out the full, in-depth review for the anime "Log Horizon".

The return of Ike, the swordsman whom everyone agreed had taken Roy's spot when Super Smash Bros. Brawl had launched is quite unexpected, but quite welcomed!  I was sure that he was going to be replaced just like Roy was, and that more than likely it was going to be by Chrom of the new Fire Emblem: Awakening.  I knew that Marth was going to make it back as he is insanely popular and appeared as Downloadable Content within the new Fire Emblem while being highly sought after by players due to his popularity, but Ike?  This comes as a happy surprise!  A character I would actually main appears!

Ike was my main character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and he has grown on me, so I am happy to see him return.  Hit the jump to see screenshots from both Wii-U and 3DS!

Sailor Moon is possibly the most beloved shoujo manga and anime in history, the name alone is legendary and instantly recognizable all over the world.  Viz Media has recently acquired the licensing rights to Sailor Moon and its new series, Sailor Moon Crystal, I personally believe this is a large step in the right direction.

Viz Media will be streaming episodes 1-4 on its free on NeonAlley and on subscription based Hulu Plus in High Definition.  The ultimate plan is to stream all 200 episodes of Sailor Moon with 2 episodes debuting every Monday, including the 5th and final season which never came to North America, "Sailor Stars".

Titanfall is one of the most addicting shooters I have played since Gears of War 2.  This game literally has me unable to put the controller down for very long without a crippling urge to go back and the games themselves having no end to tension, edge-of-your-seat moments, and spectacular action.  However, the one thing this game has suffered from is the lack of quality teammates I seem to be getting during matchmaking.

What I have found from looking at various streams on Twitch TV and people running around during games is that they know how to play First Person Shooters, but they do not know how to play Titanfall.  While I am not the best out there, I feel as though I am beyond the skill of an average player and want to share my knowledge with you.

Today on twitter I saw a tweet talking about Xbox Live "Games with Gold" and how it is also going to be coming on Xbox One in June (So there is a bit of information if you did not know it already).  However, the most significant thing that I have found out within this article they posted on twitter is that they are going to be offering a $399 Xbox One that does NOT come bundled with Kinect 2.0.

Honestly, this gives me a very bad taste in my mouth and I figure that it is something Microsoft is doing because they are growing  more desperate with sales as the Playstation 4 continues to dominate in total consoles shipped and actually sold to the consumer.  I think this is something Microsoft needs to re-evaluate.  Catch my full opinion on the matter after the jump.

Two more fighters have joined in the Sega based fighting game "Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax" which features multiple anime characters from a variety of series from Dengeki Bunko.  It is developed by Ecole Software and Soft-Circle Frenchbread, the makers behind "Melty Blood" and "Under Night In-Birth".

I am excited to announce that two more characters have currently joined the fray, Taiga Aisaka from the Slice-of-Life anime "Toradora!" and Miyuki Shiba from the currently airing anime "The Irregular at Magic High School".

I give a screenshot for each of the characters after the jump as well as what I think about them entering into an ever growing assortment of Dengeki Bunko Characters.

This posting is just something to let everyone know that RoKtheReaper.com will be back in full operation as of May 13th, which is next Tuesday.  I will probably be leading off with my "Top 5 Tuesday" post, "5 Tips For Titanfall", which will be aiming to help those who ned to learn how to play Titanfall better (or are at least struggling).  Expect to have regular news, interviews, reviews, and editorials pertaining to all things anime, gaming, and manga.\

Expect for pieces to also have more opinionated matter for a more personal touch, but also to have it backed by facts which shows why I have those opinions, however, nothing will be biased as I like to keep things nice and nuetral for the sake of giving the readers the best information possible.

I hope you all show some love for me during my sort of "Grand Re-Opening" of RoKtheReaper.com!  Oh, something else to know is that I will be trying to finalize my archives page by the end of June-July, with the "Anime Review Archive" coming first, followed by the site review archive!

Starting this blog, I just wanted a creative outlet for my writing as well as to show my love for gaming, anime, and manga.  Over that time I have undergone a series of changes for myself as well as the site.  I have grown from doing it merely because I love it, to do it in order to try and gain things like free review material, to even doing things based on what would make me more credible to attractive those who would want to advertise...but I am beyond all of that now.

This announcement is going to be about how I plan to merely be the best that I can be without worrying about everything else that goes along with it.  To deliver quality news, reviews, interviews, and any other material or content that fit gaming, anime, and manga.

Call of Duty as a series has not been fun to me since "Call of Duty: Black Ops".  I never touched Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops II, or Ghosts because it all looked the same as previous iterations.  I also did not really care for "Killstreaks", where one player got rewarded with better firepower for already doing better than everyone else, it made no sense.  However, that may change in the future.

A new trailer has been recently released called "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare", and it shows a futuristic world that seems to believe that the idea that America was founded on is flawed, not to mention that tolerances of anyone other than ourselves seeems to be too lenient a policy.  Hit the jump for the trailer and my impression on what I think about this trailer.
